30 Jun 2022-Recognition Day at DBTI

DBTI Management, Staff and Student gathered on 30th June 2022 to acknowledge and appreciate the trainees who performed well during the course of the year. It was also a day when the institute bid farewell to the outgoing trainees. The program of the day begun at 1.00 p m with the lighting of the lamp and prayer dance after which Dr. Fr. Sajan M George, the Director of the institute welcomed the chief guest. He, in his message emphasized on the importance of focussing on the future with right motivation and accepting the failures as stepping stones to success. There were several well prepared dances and songs during the program. Abhishek, one of the first year trainees in his address wished the outgoing trainees all the very best.

Those with 100% attendance, the tournament and competition winners and those first in the class and sections were awarded with trophies and certificates. Anuj Pawan Ekka, Samya Chaudhary and Ashish Bage were declared as the best trainees of Mechanical, Computer and printing sections respectively. It was a thrill indeed for Anuj Pawan Ekka of 2nd year Draughtsman who was declared as the best trainee of the year. Anuj on behalf of the outgoing trainees expressed his gratitude to the management, staff and the trainees of first year for the wonderful experience that they experienced and enjoyed during the course of the training. The Chief Guest appreciated Don Bosco Management for the effort being done to skill the youth. He also told the trainees to be employable in the job market and at the same time be entrepreneurs to be successful in the future. Br. Tom, the Principal of the institute gave the vote of thanks and in his concluding message he told the trainees to respect those who show the way especially the parents and the teachers. He also told them that knowledge, skill and right attitude are very important whatever job is undertaken in the future. Kudos to Fr. Abhay, some of the teachers and some of the trainees especially the hostel boys who did a marvellous job to prepare the items as well as to prepare the stage in an attractive way.

During the program a video documentary of the chess board project was played. It was prepared by the mechanical trainees and the project was appreciated by many. At the end of the program another video clip was played and the some of the cherishing moments were displayed in the same. After the program everyone had delicious snacks after which some of the students stayed back to dance and enjoy for a couple of hours. I am sure it was a day to cherish indeed for most of the students of the institute.
