31 Jan 2021-Don Bosco’s feast day celebration with a difference at DBTI, Okhla.

 It was a fascinating day indeed for the staff and students of Don Bosco Technical Institute, Okhla on 31st January 2021 as the institute celebrated the feast of Don Bosco in a meaningful manner. His Grace Archbishop Anil of Delhi Archdiocese celebrated the mass at 10.30 a m for the staff and students. During the talk he praised the work of Don Bosco which had begun in Italy over one and half century ago. He was all praise and appreciation for the tremendous work being done for the youth various parts of India. He was happy indeed to see the development in DBTI, Okhla. Immediately after the mass the Bishop together with the Salesian fathers and brothers were felicitated in the chapel by singing, offering bouquets and gifts.

The staff and students had a sumptuous lunch at 12.00 noon after which there were lot of fun games in the playground. The entire campus reverberated with laughter and cheering during the fun games. The trainees were exuberant as they participated in the games which were organized by Fr Abhay and team. These games and activities helped the trainees bring out the hidden talents and develop a competitive as well as team spirit in them. They loved the program of the day so much that they did not fee like leaving the campus. And so, they continued with some dancing in the playground until they were asked to return home. It was a fabulous day for everyone in the institute to remember and cherish.
