29 Apr 2023-EGN Education Awards

Education Growth Network (EGN) is a network of educators and solution providers that aims to bridge the gap between industry stakeholders. EGN creates opportunities for educator to support one another by sharing best practise, offering training, advice and fostering collaborations.

The scintillating award ceremony was held on 29th April 2023 at Holiday Inn, Mayur Vihar, Delhi. Over 40 outstanding heroes of education were awarded on the occasion for their contribution towards education industry. The awards were presented by Shree Mohan Pradeep Sharma, founder of Voice of Choice and Shrimati Sadhvi Pragya Barti, a well-known spiritual mentor, social activist and Co-Founder - Sambhav International Foundation (Delhi). Br. Tom C J, Principal of Don Bosco Technical Institute, Okhla, New Delhi, was one among them who received the award for his contribution to the young people in their education and training for the past 30 years. It is important to note that he had also received another award “2022 Global Human Rights Protection Award’ in November 2022 from Indian Institute of Human rights.  

The Awards were to recognize the outstanding contribution made by educators pursuing new opportunities, engaging in continuous innovation, and exhibiting a high degree of accountability for quality education. Prior to the presentation of the awards, there was a one-to-one chat session on the stage with education heroes. They shared their change making stories and how they are Re-Discovering, Re-Defining & Re-Imagining the teaching-learning process and preparing students for life.
